On October 10, 2024, a strong Geomagnetic Storm hit earth, allowing for yet another opportunity to capture the northern lights at exceptionally low latitudes. I had this idea to capture it at Cathedral Peak/ Upper Cathedral Lake in Yosemite in my head for about a year and a half, but was waiting for the right setup to make it happen. It came together more seamlessly and beautifully than I could have ever imagined.
